Add the Pinty's Grand Prix of Toronto to the trophy list
Count ‘em up. That is 3 wins this season.
Kevin Lacroix established a hat trick with only 5 races into the season by winning all three road course races in the NASCAR Pinty’s 2017 season.
Congrats to the championship points leader who dominated during the Pinty’s Grand Prix of Toronto, taking place during the Toronto Indy.
In his words:
“This victory gives us a significant gap in the driver’s championship,” said Lacroix, who now holds 222 points, a 13-points gap on the runner-up. “When I became the leader of the race, I felt Marc-Antoine Camirand’s presence behind me, but I wasn’t worried because I know he is a respectful driver and that he wouldn’t try something dangerous on me.”
With his victory during the season opener at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, his first-place finish at the Ecko Unlimited 75 at ICAR and the race at the Grand Prix of Toronto, Kevin Lacroix signs a hat trick of victories on road courses.
